Artista español (catalán) y uno de los más importantes pintores del siglo XX.  Salvador Dalí es probablemente el máximo representante del movimiento surrealista. El repertorio artístico de Dalí es muy variado e incluye aspectos como el cine, el dibujo, el grabado, la escultura, el diseño, la fotografía… La obra más representativa y tal vez más conocida sea  La persistencia de la memoria (1931).

Salvador Dalí es el único artista conocido que en vida tuvo dos museos dedicado a su obra: El Museo Dalí  de San Petersburgo en Florida (USA) y el Teatro Museo de Dalí en Figueres (España).

He was a Spanish (Catalan) artist and one of the most important painters of the 20th century. Salvador Dali was probably the greatest Surrealist artist . Dalí's artistic repertoire also included film,  drawing, sculpture, graphics, jewellery design and photography. His most famous work is The Persistence Of Memory (1931).

Salvador Dali is the only known artist who had two museums dedicated exclusively to his works at lifetime: The Dali Museum  in St. Petersburg in Florida/U.S.A.  and Dali Museum-Theater in Figueres, Spain.
